What is safeguarding training?
Safeguarding training teaches people to recognise abuse and neglect, and what to do if they are worried about a child or an adult at risk. This category will list child protection training and safeguarding adults training for people who work with survivors. Each nation has its own guidance, such as Working Together to Safeguard Children in England, the National Guidance for Child Protection in Scotland, the Wales Safeguarding Procedures and Co-operating to Safeguard Children and Young People in Northern Ireland.
